Below is a brief description of the general role and the overall structure of the organization. The Board is in charge of the operations and decisions of the organization. Committees do NOT have independent authority to take any action without Board approval in order to protect the integrity of the overall entity. In brief, the Board makes the decisions; and the Committees carry out the actions. Committee Chairs are in charge of making sure the duties of the committee are carried out, NOT that they do all the work. Committee Chairs will be delegating and leading the volunteer members of the committee. We are seeking Committee Chairs and Committee Members.
Please note that dotted lines only indicate affiliation with no direct control by the Board. Indy Red and The AlleyCats are a clear example, but also includes pick-up, non-IUF recreational league for youth and adults and clubs. The IUF will work with these organizations only by assisting and advising.
Red Committees are Operational, Blue are Advisory and Yellow is a Special Committee.
